The Visionary Prize for Women’s Economic Empowerment, sponsored by Visionary Women and the Hostetler/Wrigley Foundation, is an annual initiative aimed at recognizing and supporting three visionary women leading nonprofits in the United States that focus on advancing women's economic empowerment. The prizes, intended for general operating expenses, include a main award of $75,000 and a runner-up award of $25,000. The objectives of the grant include providing access to capital and non-monetary resources that support women’s economic advancement, and removing barriers to allow women full participation in the workforce. Honorees will be celebrated at a ceremony in Los Angeles, with travel expenses covered by the foundations.
