The Waipahu Community Foundation aims to ensure every Waipahu youth has access to community cultural, education, and recreation programs, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity, ensuring that all youth can participate regardless of their ability to pay. Established with contributions from H K Horita Realty Inc, Royal Oahu Resorts, Inc., and Hazama Corporation, its founding was supported by the City and County of Honolulu and developers of the Royal Kunia Golf Course.
The Waipahu Community Foundation Grant program focuses on supporting the youth of Waipahu through various initiatives. Grants are intended to be used to benefit Waipahu’s youth primarily but not exclusively for the following purposes:
