Watersheds United Vermont (WUV) aims to support water quality enhancement projects in the state of Vermont, with a focus on design and implementation efforts that contribute to the health and sustainability of local watersheds. Funded by the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation’s Clean Water Initiative Program, WUV works to facilitate impactful environmental projects.
The WUV Enhancement Design and Implementation Block Grant program seeks to allocate approximately $200,000 towards the design and implementation of priority water quality enhancement projects. Specifically, this grant supports the preliminary design, final design, and implementation phases of such projects, with an emphasis on potentially including culvert replacement designs in future funding rounds. All funded projects are expected to be completed before October 1, 2026, contributing significantly to the improvement of water quality within Vermont.
