Wold Foundation Grant

    Created by John and Jane Wold and the Wold family in 1985, the Wold Foundation aims to assist, encourage, and promote charitable, scientific, literary, and educational endeavors. It prioritizes traditional values and free enterprise, with a focus on benefiting Wyoming citizens and youth. The Foundation supports its mission through grants for research or publication, collaboration with existing agencies and institutions, or any other means deemed appropriate by its Board of Directors.

    The Wold Foundation Grant program focuses on several key areas:

    • Education: Supporting the growth and development across all education levels, including public, independent, and private institutions.
    • Human Services Organizations and Youth Programs: Aiming to help individuals help themselves, realize potential, and lead productive lives. This includes supporting youth programs that promote mental and physical well-being, life skills necessary for adulthood, and self-confidence.
    • Cultural and Historic Activities: Believing in the importance of cultural activities for communities, the program supports the preservation of historic sites and buildings, especially those utilized by community-based organizations.
    • Health Care: Encouraging preventative health programs, wellness promotion, and efforts that demonstrate a reduction in health care costs.
    • Scientific Endeavors, Conservation, Outdoor Recreation: Supporting scientific projects aiming to improve quality of life, conservation efforts, and the wise use of natural resources, viewing these as integral to health, education, leadership training, and youth services.
