Established in 1999 as part of the Wyoming Community Foundation, WYWF leverages funds through its endowment to make grants and spearhead initiatives for the benefit of women, girls, and the broader community.

    Overview

    The broad goals of the Memorial Bear Fund are to support research, habitat protection, education, and other projects beneficial to all species of bears. The evaluation of projects for funding is based on criteria such as the likelihood of success, project readiness, availability of matching funds, significance at local/state/regional levels, duration of benefits, and adequacy of monitoring practices.
