    Description

    Porto, located in northern Portugal, is a charismatic and beautiful city with laid back charm, and rich in culture and history. Spend 5 amazing nights in a centrally located apartment for 2. During your stay you will have the chance to see the city from a different perspective as you cruise along the Douro River. Another day you will visit three different wineries in Vilanova de Gaia, learning about and of course tasting the famous Porto wine!

    Package includes

    • 5 night stay for 2 guests in a 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment in Porto city center 
    • Porto River cruise (approximate duration 1 hr)
    • Walking tour of Vilanova de Gaia, the part of the city renowned for its port cellars. Visit to 3 of the best cellars with Porto tasting included. Shared group tour (approximate duration 3 hours)
    • Final cleaning & utilities
    • Concierge service to add extra activities

    These are additional fees that are not included in the cost of the package. The winning bidder may be responsible for these fees in addition to their winning bid.

    A city tax of €3 per night, per guest is required at check-in. This tax is decided by the Local Municipality and it applies to all tourist locations in Portugal.

    Max occupancy

    The maximum occupancy for this package is 2 persons.

    Redemption terms and restrictions

    Bookings are based on the availability of accommodations and the travel dates must be booked and used within a 24 month window from the purchase date. After this period of time, the offer is void and no longer valid.

    Refunds, transfers, and changes policy

    We strongly recommend that guests consider purchasing private travel insurance to provide protection in the event of unforeseen circumstances that may necessitate cancellation or rescheduling of their reservation.

    1. Modifications Prior to Arrival: Guests are permitted to modify their reservation date up to ninety (90) days before the scheduled arrival date. A fee will apply to such modifications. Please note that only one date change is allowed per reservation.

    2. Modifications Within Ninety Days of Arrival: Changes to reservation dates are not permitted within ninety (90) days of the scheduled arrival date. In the event of a cancellation within this timeframe, the entire trip will be forfeited.

    3. Non-Refundable Policy: Please be advised that all trips are non-refundable. There are no refunds for unused bookings.

    We bought a trip at a local fundraiser and went through Hill Town Tours for our trip into Portugal. They arranged the apartment, which was so easy and very, very nice. They scheduled some of the package wine tours and rides that came with our package, but we also used them to schedule another full day Fatima and Coimbra tour. There is absolutely no way we could have done this on our own and we were so relieved and pleased with the service we got from Hill Town Tours. I highly recommend.

    We purchased this trip at a fundraising auction and were so pleasantly surprised. The company made great arrangements and we were in an amazing apartment in the heart of Lisbon. There were street performers outside our window and multiple restaurants and shops just minutes away. Can’t wait to go back and see more of this wonderful city and country.

    We had a wonderful time in Portugal with many thanks to Susana with Hill Town Tours who crafted some fantastic adventures for us. These included a traditional dinner with Fado music, a private tour with 2 wineries and tastings in the Duoro Valley, a private walking tour with tastings at port wine cellars, and a private day trip to Sintra complete with a tour of the summer palace.

    We had a wonderful six days in Porto. The apartment provided by Hill Town Tours was in the centre of the old town, close to everything. The staff assigned to our unit were very attentive and courteous. Would recommend and use again.
