    The lodge is rustic and quirky and we loved it! The view of Hamilton and the mountains is amazing. It was a great basecamp for our Montana adventures hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and horseback riding. I did miss having a washer and dryer and the ride up to the cabin is an adventure of its own, but those were minor inconveniences. Thanks to John for sharing your awesome lodge!

    The lodge was unreal, the view was spectacular. We really enjoyed unwinding with the sauna and hot tub. Really a special place way above town. Will try to visit in the winter and shred some powder!

    We had a wonderful stay at Downy Mountain in July. Beautiful lodge, amazing, views, and an awesome kitchen to cook in for large groups. Nothing beats a hot tub with a view of the Bitterroots. We'll definitely be back!
