    Perched atop cliffs that are situated above town, Fairmont St. Andrews offers two stunning traditional links golf courses, the Kittocks and Torrance, which wind their way around 520 stunning acres of utterly breathtaking scenery. The long and challenging Kittocks Course, formerly known as the Devlin, requires nerves of steel with its dramatic design and many holes running alongside the coastline. The Torrance Course was once flat farmland before it was expertly transformed into a design of strategically-placed classic Scottish bunkers and holes placed near rocky cliffs.

    What a great property. A must stay if you’re visiting St.Andrews. It has that quiet confidence that comes from a superbly managed property. From the driveway welcome to the front desk, to the rooms and F&B…it all clicks. And if you happen to be a golfer you’ll be in heaven. We’re already planning our next trip

    Our stay at Fairmont St Andrews was nothing short of exceptional. We were lucky enough to receive this stay as a gift from close friends to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and what an unforgettable way to mark such a special occasion. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The warmth, friendliness and professionalism shown throughout our stay was truly world class. Nothing was too much trouble, and every interaction made us feel valued as guests. Our room was absolutely beautiful—immaculately clean, spacious, luxurious and with stunning views. It was the perfect place to relax and celebrate together, and every detail had clearly been thought through. A special mention has to go to Sean from Kittocks Bar. His customer service is genuinely outstanding. His attention to detail, friendly personality and the way he acknowledged our wedding anniversary made our evening even more memorable. Sean is a fantastic ambassador for the Fairmont and a real credit to the hotel. We would also like to recognise Phil, the concierge, whose professionalism, welcoming nature and willingness to help really stood out. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, and his passion for looking after guests was evident from the moment we arrived. It’s people like Sean, Phil and the rest of the incredible team that make the Fairmont such a special place. Luxury hotels can provide beautiful rooms, but it’s the people who create unforgettable memories—and the team here certainly did that. To everyone at the Fairmont St Andrews, thank you for making our first wedding anniversary so special. We will treasure the memories we made and can’t wait to return. Five stars simply doesn’t seem enough!
