Overview
The Concrete Research Council (CRC) Research Grant, under the ACI Foundation, focuses on advancing the concrete industry by funding research projects that enhance the understanding and sustainability of concrete materials, construction, and structures. This is done in coordination with ACI Committees wherever possible. The grant features include:
Up to $50,000 awarded per project for direct costs.
Indirect costs are capped at 15%, with the ACI Foundation covering this percentage.
Support and engagement from an ACI technical committee are required for the research concept.
Encouragement of research topics from all areas within the concrete sector.
Limitation for researchers to be principal or co-principal investigator on only one proposal.
Strong encouragement of industry partnering and project cost sharing.
