At the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW), we are driven by a vision for a healthier Wisconsin. As Wisconsin’s largest health improvement philanthropy, AHW seeks to propel the most promising work and ideas to improve health and advance health equity in Wisconsin today, and for generations to come. We invest in high-impact work, connect people and resources across sectors and communities, and influence how ideas become actionable to inform programs, policies, and practices. Our goal is to accelerate innovation, collaboration, and impact in response to research- and community-identified needs.
The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment's Community-led Learning Event Support grant aims to fund learning events that enhance the knowledge, skills, and networks of Wisconsin's health workforce. It supports events that bring together health professionals to address Wisconsin’s major health challenges and to foster the development of future health leadership. Grant-funded events should align with AHW's Education and Workforce Development pathway, focusing on transforming the health workforce to meet the diverse needs of Wisconsin residents. Successful applications will identify a crucial learning gap, target Wisconsin-based health workforce professionals, and demonstrate how the event will equip participants to improve health and health equity in Wisconsin.
