The mission of the Alabama Power Foundation is to support community development by investing in initiatives across five key areas: Educational Advancement, Civic and Community Development, Arts and Cultural Enrichment, Health and Human Services, and Environmental Stewardship.
The Elevate grant program by the Alabama Power Foundation aims to empower nonprofit organizations by helping them expand their impact and address the state's pressing needs. The program supports organizations by providing tools and resources to strengthen their capabilities. Elevate Grants target needs and initiatives not covered by other grant programs, focusing on areas such as Educational Advancement, Civic & Community Development, Arts & Cultural Enrichment, Health & Human Services, and Environmental Stewardship. The 2025 Elevate grant program will award nonprofits across the state up to $5,000 for Workforce Development.
