The Climate Innovation Fund (CIF) Grant Program is dedicated to funding local climate mitigation projects in Calgary and Edmonton. The program aims to support a variety of organizations in bringing their unique emission-reducing projects from concept to implementation. It focuses on projects that not only present groundbreaking solutions to the climate emergency but also exhibit potential for scalability and long-term impact. The grant program encourages applications for projects within its four focus areas: Overarching or Foundational; Building Better or Retrofitting Wiser; Moving on Mobility; and Decarbonization and Renewable Energy.
