Empowering and supporting a collaborative multidisciplinary community that provides accessible and robust scientific education for health professionals and researchers,fosters innovative research as well as its dissemination and implementation, and advocates for equitable access to evidence-based and patient-centered care, with a vision to advance the health and well-being of all individuals with cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset disabilities.
The International Travel Scholarship is designed for individuals in clinical practice with a strong motivation and position to share the knowledge gained with their peers in their home country after attending the meeting. It targets applicants from areas with under-supported medical systems and those with limited financial resources, providing them with complimentary registration for the annual meeting, networking chances, and learning opportunities from multi-disciplinary experts in childhood-onset disabilities. Additionally, it offers general assistance at the meeting through the International Affairs Committee and has historically covered expenses not exceeding $2,000. Membership in the AACPDM is required to apply for this scholarship.
