Empowering and supporting a collaborative multidisciplinary community that provides accessible and robust scientific education for health professionals and researchers, fosters innovative research as well as its dissemination and implementation, and advocates for equitable access to evidence-based and patient-centered care, with a vision to advance the health and well-being of all individuals with cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset disabilities.
The OrthoPediatrics Travel Scholarships to the AACPDM Annual Meeting are aimed at providing residents/fellows in training, physicians in their first year of practice, and allied health professionals at any point in their career, the means to attend the AACPDM Annual Meeting. Specifically, this scholarship focuses on members who would not be able to attend the meeting without financial assistance. The scholarship covers complimentary registration, offers valuable networking opportunities, and the chance to learn from multidisciplinary experts in the field of childhood-onset disabilities. While historically, reimbursements for transportation, lodging, and meal expenses have not exceeded $1,500, this funding support is crucial for enabling the continued professional development of selected AACPDM members. Applicants must be members of the AACPDM to be eligible for this award.
