Amgen's U.S. Healthcare Donations program supports qualified members of the U.S. healthcare community through contributions, grants, or payments in cash or in kind, without expectation of return beyond customary donor recognition of incidental value. The program's goals are to support science, technology, medicine, healthcare, or education; educate the public on disease states, medical conditions, science, or technology; and further other philanthropic and charitable purposes aligned with Amgen's scientific and disease-state interests. Supported donation types include endowed professorships, fellowships, patient education, awards/scholarships, and non-accredited medical or scientific meetings/conferences. Areas of interest include Biomedical Data Sciences, Biosimilars Education, Biostatistical Sciences, and various fields of medical research including but not limited to Bone, Cardiovascular, Discovery Research, Hematology/Oncology, and Neuroscience.
