    Overview

The grant program by the Avista Foundation prioritizes supporting education, the environment, vulnerable and limited income populations, and the enhancement of economic and cultural vitality in its served communities. Furthermore, the Foundation offers a matching gifts program for Avista Corp. and Alaska Electric Light and Power Co. employees, reinforcing its commitment to community engagement and support. Sponsorships by the Foundation are specifically for event support rather than programmatic support or asset purchases, with applications accepted throughout the year and a 90-day review process for requests.
