The Seattle Fund, by the Best Buy Foundation, targets nonprofit organizations in the King County metro area, aiming to provide teens from disinvested communities access to tech skills and career training. It focuses on Teens and Tech programs that encourage learning and collaboration in technologies like computing, robotics, 3-D printing, digital photography, filmmaking, graphic design, audio production, game development, programming, and app development. Additionally, Career Pathway programs offer tech skills and workforce readiness, align training with labor market needs, engage youth in work-based learning opportunities, and offer career readiness training.
