Twin Cities Fund: Teens and Tech Program Grant

The Best Buy Foundation aims to provide access to opportunities through technology for teens and support Arts and Culture organizations to enhance the vibrancy of the Twin Cities metro area in Minnesota.

    Type of Support

    Overview

The Teens and Tech program grant supports out-of-school programs that encourage teens to learn and experiment with the latest technologies, develop skills and experiences that may help them succeed in future careers and promote workforce readiness skills or credentials. Funding is available in two areas of focus: Teens & Tech grants encourage technological exploration for teens and young people; Career Pathways grants support programming focused on career development, including and especially in fields related to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics). Please note that you may only apply to one program. Eligible programs may provide staffing, curriculum and materials for out-of-school programming. Preference is given to programs that emphasize cutting-edge technology and/or promote tech-related curriculum; programs that include wraparound support for participants; and programs that encourage Best Buy employee volunteerism.
