The mission of the British Cave Research Association (BCRA) is to administer the United Kingdom Cave Conservation Emergency Fund (UKCCEF), focusing on supporting projects that contribute to the conservation of caves, historic mines, and other speleological interests within the United Kingdom.

Applications are reviewed three times a year, with potential for expedited review for smaller requests.
