Overview

The grant programs include the Natural Community Conservation Planning Local Assistance Grant (NCCP LAG) and the 30x30 Grant Program. The NCCP LAG program aims to assist local entities in implementing NCCPs by funding the highest priority tasks identified annually, up to $576,000 available this cycle. The 30x30 Grant Program, with up to $28.5 million available, focuses on accelerating the conservation of California's lands and coastal waters to meet the state's goal of conserving 30% by 2030. This program emphasizes regionally led conservation efforts and supports the planning and implementation of NCCPs and Habitat Conservation Plans (HCPs) through Land Acquisition projects.
