The Power Saver Rewards Grant Program aims to provide grants to Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) for the purpose of educating the public about the Power Saver Rewards initiative and motivating Californians to participate during Flex Alerts, specifically from May to October. This program emphasizes the role of CBOs as essential links within various communities for distributing valuable information and services, especially targeting audiences that are hard to reach. It encourages CBOs with extensive networks and effective outreach capabilities to apply. The program mandates outreach within Pacific Gas and Electric, Southern California Edison, and San Diego Gas & Electric territories, supporting educational efforts about Power Saver Rewards and Flex Alert activation. Grantees are expected to be integral to the PSR communications effort, utilizing provided resources such as messaging, collateral, and support for the development of approved materials.
