    Overview

The Arrow Street Arts Fund, in partnership with Arrow Street Arts, aims to strengthen the arts and culture ecosystem in Cambridge by providing subsidized use of a multi-space venue located at 2 Arrow Street in Harvard Square. This initiative seeks to address the critical barrier of limited access to performance spaces for local artists by making arts spaces more affordable and welcoming, particularly targeting the needs of artists from historically underserved groups and diverse backgrounds. This fund is a response to identified needs in the Boston Performing Arts Facilities Assessment and the Cambridge Mayor’s Arts Task Force findings, underlining the Foundation's commitment to lessening the gap between artist needs and the availability of performance spaces while also contributing to the strategic goal of building social cohesion through a stronger and more diverse arts and culture ecosystem.
