The State Promotion of Strategies to Advance Oral Health grant is a three-year competitive opportunity that aims to support oral health programs. It focuses on enabling recipients to cater to priority populations through several key strategies: ensuring access to optimally fluoridated water and the receipt of evidence-based preventive dental services, encouraging adherence to infection prevention and control recommendations, enabling access to data to build evidence for public health practice, facilitating access to care and tackling untreated decay, and providing foundational information that supports the integration of medical and dental services for individuals with diabetes.
