    Overview

The Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation Super Smiles at School Mini Grant program aims to improve oral health outcomes for school-aged youth by supporting oral health education and treatment initiatives. This program focuses on expanding access to oral health care and education in early childhood centers and public schools, with the goal of impacting students at early childhood, primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels. The grants prioritize funding for:

    • Supplying oral health materials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss.
    • Educating students on the importance of oral health through classroom instruction.
    • Assessing students' oral health through programs conducted by trained school nurses.
    • Preventing dental issues by administering fluoride varnish applications under physician supervision.
    • Treating dental problems by connecting students with dental treatment services.
