The mission of the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation (DDARF) is to improve oral health for everyone by supporting initiatives that discover, test, and share creative ideas aimed at improving oral health outcomes and promoting health equity. DDARF focuses on empowering communities with knowledge, ensuring equitable access to oral health care, and fostering systemic change in oral health processes.
The Community Grant program by the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation focuses on enhancing oral health through three main pillars: Prevention, Education, and Treatment. The grants are geared towards transactional projects and services that aim to (1) provide preventive and basic oral healthcare to the community, (2) educate communities on proper oral health regimens, oral diseases, and accessing oral health treatment and supplies, and (3) treat at-risk or low-income populations with oral health conditions. This initiative seeks to increase access to oral health care through community partnerships, funding preventative services, and treatment for underserved individuals of all ages, ethnicities, genders, and socioeconomic statuses in Arkansas.
