The Capacity Building Mini-Grants program is designed to support nonprofits in enhancing their organizational and financial stability, governance, and capacity for growth. This, in turn, enables them to execute their missions more effectively. These grants focus on funding activities that strengthen and preserve the organizational infrastructure and governance. Projects that can be funded include strategic planning, succession planning for CEOs/executive leaders, board development, strategic collaborations or mergers, disaster and facilities/maintenance planning, technology upgrades, governance enhancements, policies and procedures, efforts towards inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA), evaluation and data organization, and planning for benefits and compensation.
