To receive and accept property exclusively for educational, cultural, charitable, or benevolent purposes for the benefit, health, and improvement of residents of the Central Montana area in such a way that the quality of life in Central Montana shall be enhanced. By working through the Foundation, projects that align with these values provide donors with a tax-deductible avenue for contributions, supporting the vision of enhancing the quality of life within the local communities.
The Central Montana Foundation Major Grants program is designed to support projects benefiting educational, medical, essential services, civic, and cultural initiatives within the Central Montana community. Grant requests of $5,000 or more are considered annually by the Board of Directors during their meeting in May. Priority is given to projects that promise to benefit the most residents of Central Montana, encompassing focus areas such as healthcare, essential services, education, and cultural and civic projects. This grant program emphasizes the Foundation's commitment to improving the quality of life across the Central Montana community by supporting impactful local projects.
