Fund for Chester County Capacity Building Initiative Grant

The Community Foundation's capacity building grantmaking program is designed to bolster the organizational health and effectiveness of nonprofits in the Chester County region. This is achieved through supporting a wide range of capacity building projects across various areas, including:

• Mission, Vision, & Strategy (e.g., Organizational Assessment, Strategic & Business Planning)
• Governance & Leadership (e.g., Board Development, Executive Transition/Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Staff Training & Professional Development)
• Strategic Relationships (e.g., Coalition Building, Collaboration, Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic Restructuring)
• Fundraising & Development (e.g., Donor Identification, Cultivation, Development & Stewardship; Development Campaigns; Earned Income Development; Social Enterprise Feasibility & Development)
• Operations (e.g., Disaster Recovery Planning, Financial Management, Human Resources, Volunteer Management, Industry Certification, Risk Management, Technology Improvements)
