The mission of the community foundation’s revitalization initiative is to offer unique opportunities for community benefit organizations and residents to enact transformational change. This is achieved by collectively creating and improving community assets and infrastructure, aiming to realize the vision of a clean, safe, and productive Westmoreland County.
The grant program of the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County aims to support nonprofit organizations by focusing on several key areas: Capacity Building, Greensburg Foundation Fund, Healthy Communities, and Revitalizing Westmoreland. Additionally, CFWC is open to reviewing letters of inquiry for projects that fall outside of these special funding initiatives, embodying a broad goal to foster community development and wellbeing in Westmoreland County through varied and flexible support mechanisms.
