The City of Muskogee Foundation aims to significantly impact Muskogee by supporting programs and facilities in education, arts, culture, community revitalization, social services, health care, economic development, infrastructure, housing, and recreation. Its mission extends to making a real difference through grants to nonprofits, churches, schools, and municipal initiatives, focusing on enhancing Muskogee's innovation, productivity, growth, and prosperity.
The Summer Grant requires projects or programs to primarily occur during the summer months. This grant supports nonprofit organizations, churches, schools, and the City of Muskogee in various fields from education and health care to community revitalization. Future funding depends on measured outcomes and meeting expectations. Out of cycle grants are considered for time-sensitive needs outside the regular programs, particularly emphasizing job creation and business development. The grants cover multiple funding types, including capital, incentives, and infrastructure, aiming to respond to the community's changing needs and enhance Muskogee's overall wellbeing and economic landscape.
