Community foundations are philanthropic organizations designed to be simple, flexible, convenient, tax-wise, cost-effective, and perpetual charitable vehicles. They hold, administer, invest, and make grants from funds established by individuals, families, and others to support community needs.
The Foundation administers a number of Unrestricted Funds, known collectively as "Community Impact Funds". These funds, established by donors, aim to meet a broad range of community needs as determined by the Foundation's Board and staff.
