The mission of the Sue Goetz Ross and Stephen S. Roberts Music Fund, through the legacy gift made by Stephen Roberts and its association with the Permanent Fund for Northern Virginia, is dedicated to forever supporting the arts and culture sector within the region.
The Community Investment Funds, managed by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, provide a signature annual grant cycle aimed at supporting nonprofit organizations in Northern Virginia. These grants focus on several key areas: aging, arts, child and youth development, education, environment, intellectual and developmental disabilities, support for children and youth in specific locales, engagement and achievement within the Latino community, mental health, military personnel and their families, and basic needs relief. This initiative underscores a broad commitment to strengthening the local community by addressing a spectrum of needs, from educational support to environmental conservation.
