The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin aims to enhance the betterment of communities in its nine-county service area through the support and management of community funds. Each fund, guided by a local volunteer advisory board, focuses on responding to the evolving needs of the community by distributing grants to various projects and programs.
The Mineral Point Community Endowment, established in 2016, focuses on supporting the people, projects, and plans that benefit the Mineral Point community. It distributes a part of its earnings annually through grants aimed at qualified organizations that serve the community in meaningful ways. The operation and grant determinations of the endowment are managed by a volunteer advisory board, which also leads fundraising efforts.
