The mission of The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is to inspire, support, inform, listen to, and collaborate with the people and organizations of Greater New Haven to build an ever more connected, inclusive, equitable, and philanthropic community.
The grant program aims to support one-day events that adhere to CDC and State of Connecticut COVID-19 guidelines. Applications for sponsorships are accepted on a rolling basis, subject to funding availability, with a recommendation to submit at least 60 days prior to the event. This competitive process typically closes by September each year, suggesting an early application in the new year for a higher funding probability.
