The mission of The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is to inspire, support, inform, listen to, and collaborate with the people and organizations of Greater New Haven to build an ever more connected, inclusive, equitable, and philanthropic community.
General Operating Support grants are aimed at augmenting the overarching mission and operations of nonprofit organizations rather than funding isolated projects or specific endeavors. These grants prioritize flexibility, permitting organizations to allocate funds according to their most pressing needs. This approach supports a focus on long-term mission fulfillment. Organizations can receive up to $50,000 annually, with options for one-year, two-year, or three-year funding periods.
