The mission of the Community Foundation of Central Missouri is to improve lives in our communities by promoting private giving for public good. Since its inception in 2010, CFCM has specialized in addressing community needs through creative charitable solutions and resources, with a broad objective of funding diverse needs across central Missouri based on priority.
The Community Foundation of Central Missouri's grant program aims to partner with nonprofits working towards improving the lives of central Missouri residents. Emphasizing community investments with a return of "improved lives," the program focuses on four priority areas: human capacity development for disadvantaged groups, senior adult services, the arts, and environmental sustainability along with public spaces improvement. To qualify, organizations must exhibit a mission or significant programming within these focus areas and not have received a Community Support Grant in the previous year.
