    The mission of the Niagara Area Foundation (NAF) is to address the philanthropic void in Niagara County through charitable efforts. Established in 2000 by a collective of individuals from the private and nonprofit sectors, NAF aims to support and positively impact the community of Niagara County.

    In 2022, the Niagara Area Foundation will review applications that promise to have a maximum positive impact on Niagara County, specifically those aligning with the Council's goals of Youth Enrichment and Environment. The Youth Enrichment goal focuses on building stronger communities by enriching youth, promoting positive youth development, and advocating for equity and inclusion. The Environment goal supports initiatives that educate and raise awareness about creating a healthy, vibrant, and safe ecosystem for the residents of Niagara County.
