The Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama aims to assess and prioritize the needs of the community through collaboration and comprehensive quality of life indicators analysis. It oversees a number of funds designated for specific purposes, ensuring that grants awarded align with the strategic goals and guidelines of each fund.
Grants from the Stringfellow Health Fund are focused on supporting 501(c)(3) qualified public charities within a nine-county area for healthcare-related projects. These projects should aim to address preventable health issues, risks, or diseases, advocate or educate on health, serve clients with chronic or acute health conditions, strengthen the capacity to provide healthcare services, assist clients with mental or physical disabilities, or improve community health and well-being.
