The Trust was established so that Missouri conservationists could have a way to donate tax deductible gifts and memorials to promote conservation and inform the citizenry of important conservation and environmental developments and needs.
The Carl Morrow Giving Program, established in 1994 by the Conservation Foundation of Missouri Charitable Trust in memory of Carl Morrow, is a small grants program aimed at protecting Missouri’s natural resources. Reflecting the foundational purpose of fostering appreciation for conservation and supporting education and research, the program annually awards thousands of dollars in grants. It honors the contributions of Carl Morrow towards conservation and the establishment of the Foundation's investment fund. Initially supporting nine projects with $6,525, the program has grown to award over $13,000 annually in recent years.
