    The John Morton Excellence in the Teaching of Economics Awards, run by the Council for Economic Education (CEE), is dedicated to recognizing national excellence in economic education. It's open to teachers of any subject who integrate economics into their teaching to enhance students' understanding effectively. The grant offers several benefits, including a $1,000 cash award, covered expenses to attend CEE's Annual Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference, opportunities for professional development and recognition, and a plaque. Awards are available for teachers at the elementary, middle/junior high, and high school levels. Teachers can either apply directly or be nominated by colleagues or educational affiliates.
