Cultivate envisions a world where women of color wield their innate and collective leadership to free society from structural racism and all systems of oppression, aiming for a world where women of color are fully accepted, celebrated, respected, and valued.
The Crossroad Fund Grants aim to support a wide array of social change organizing activities that might include direct action organizing, public policy advocacy, community-based art and cultural work linked to activism, economic development, international solidarity, action research, media advocacy, social services tied to activism, leadership development and training, resources for local activists, work across issues and communities, and support for gatherings and conferences. Specifically, the Seed Fund is designed for new, emerging, or small community-based organizations actively engaged in work for social change, offering funding for general operating costs, start-up expenses, or project costs, with a maximum grant of $15,000.
