The David Colegrave Foundation (DCF) is a registered charity dedicated to the development of the ornamental horticultural industry in the UK. It achieves this by offering scholarships to individuals committed to a career in commercial ornamental horticulture, thus supporting the future growth and innovation in this sector.
The grant program, highlighted by the collaboration between The David Colegrave Foundation and Smart Garden Products, is designed to provide financial aid to students actively studying horticulture-related subjects in the UK or Ireland. This support is aimed at those enrolled in various forms of academic pursuit, from modern apprenticeships to correspondence and block release learning, with the goal of nurturing future professionals in the ornamental horticultural industry. Specific attention is given to those interested in innovative and sustainable garden product design, leveraging Smart Garden Products' reputation in solar powered consumer goods.
