Bringing clubs together to cultivate the bond among people, plants, and the environment.
The Loy McCandless Marks Scholarship Fund aims to support the international study of tropical horticulture or landscape architecture, regardless of the climate zone of the study location. The fund awards $5000 to either a graduate or undergraduate student specializing in tropical horticulture, botany, or landscape architecture, enabling them to study abroad at botanical institutions. This initiative reflects the intent of Elizabeth L. Marks to afford science majors the opportunity for extensive learning experiences outside their home countries to advance their knowledge and careers in these fields.
