    The Jonathan O. Davis Research Fellowship is aimed at supporting outstanding Masters and PhD students engaged in research related to the Quaternary geology, geomorphology, and/or geoarchaeology of the Great Basin. The fellowship provides financial support to the highest-ranking proposals from both Masters (up to $2500) and PhD (up to $5000) students, facilitating their graduate research activities within the Great Basin. This grant program underlines the importance of advancing Quaternary science research, particularly enhancing the understanding of the Great Basin's history and development during the Quaternary period.
