The Guru Krupa Foundation (GKF) is a private foundation based in New York State with the purpose of funding charitable causes. Its mission is inspired by Hindu values: helping the less fortunate, supporting educational endeavors, and preserving cultural and religious heritage.
The grant program supports projects within four main categories: Social Welfare, Higher Education, Spirituality, Arts & Culture, and Environment. Social Welfare projects aim to improve basic human rights access, such as food, shelter, and education, and empower vulnerable communities. Higher Education projects support deserving students in advanced studies to understand the physical world and its laws. Spirituality, Arts & Culture projects focus on preserving Hinduism's traditional roots and promoting cultural integration. Environment projects emphasize the preservation and nurturing of the Earth through initiatives like clean water management and tree planting.
