Middle Tennessee Grantmaking

    From HCA Foundation

The HCA Healthcare Foundation aims to improve the health and well-being of the communities it serves by supporting organizations involved in health (including primary care, dental, and mental wellness), basic needs (such as housing, food, and employment assistance), education, and the arts, particularly those that offer community outreach and educational programs.

    Type of Support

    Overview

The grant focuses on a broad range of support areas, with health and well-being being a top priority. It provides funding to organizations that promote primary care, address basic needs like housing and food security, foster educational growth across all ages, and support arts organizations that serve their communities through outreach and educational initiatives. The grant selection criteria include the organization's alignment with HCA Healthcare's mission and strategy, the critical need within the community, the history of the relationship with the organization, budget considerations, and the potential community impact. New agencies requesting over $25K must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) for review to determine alignment with the Foundation's goals and the Middle Tennessee Fund strategy.
