The Teens About Serving the County (TASC) Youth Grant aims to engage students across multiple school years in philanthropic efforts within their community. The committee, comprising students from 8th grade through senior year from each of the five school districts in Henry County, meets bi-annually to review grant requests. Guided by a chairman and foundation representatives, the grant program supports various initiatives by providing funding up to $2,500. This program not only fosters a spirit of community service among young people but also introduces them to the grantmaking process and the importance of civic engagement.
