    The Workforce Development Training Fund (WDTF) grant program is designed to support Idaho employers who are either expanding their workforce or retraining existing employees to meet specific economic opportunities or industrial expansion needs. The grant aims to increase Idahoans' economic mobility through training that leads to higher wages and job retention, offer timely business assistance while enhancing talent development strategies that benefit multiple employers, and stimulate economic growth by aiding employer efforts in job creation and technological integration. It focuses on skill development for employees, aiming for outcomes like increased wages, job creation, capital investment, retention of local workforce, credential attainment, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the program encourages innovation and the replication of best practices in talent pipeline development, with grants reaching up to $500,000 for a single employer and a maximum of $750,000 over a decade.
