The mission of the Rickertsen family, through the Sara Rickertsen Special Needs Grant Program, is to better enable others to help those with disabilities live fulfilling lives.
The LCF Grant Program seeks to provide financial support for programs and projects that benefit the Lexington community in multiple spheres. It emphasizes improving the community's quality of life by funding initiatives in education, health, arts and culture, recreation, human services, non-denominational religious programs, and community/civic engagement. The foundation focuses on collecting and administering charitable funds, soliciting gifts, managing assets, and distributing these funds through grants to achieve a broad impact across these fields of interest.
