The Music and Entertainment Industry Educators Association (MEIEA) is an international body established in 1979 aimed at bridging the gap between music and entertainment industry educators and professionals. With the mission to foster information exchange, support scholarly research, aid in program and curriculum development, and promote student interests in these industries, MEIEA strives to prepare students for successful careers in music and entertainment.
MEIEA's Student Enrichment Grants focus on financially supporting select student activities aimed at advancing education within the music and entertainment industries. These grants are allocated for various purposes, including but not limited to workshops, guest speaker events, networking mixers, community service projects, and mentoring programs. Specifically, the Level II Award targets institutions that aren’t Institutional members of MEIEA but have a faculty sponsor who is an individual member, providing up to $500 to support these activities.
